Karel Mokry, born 7 February 1959 (Czech Republic), is a grandmaster (1984). He won the Czech Championship in 1995 and finished second on three other occasions. He was on five Czech Olympiad teams and took 1st place at Reggio Emilia 1983-1984 ahead of Krunoslav Hulak and Boris Spassky, he was also 1st= at Trnava 1984 and took 1st at Trnava in 1988.
